Jeff is a third generation craftsman and has over 40 years experience in the construction trade. Growing up in Osseo, Minnesota, he started at a very young age working in the summers for both his father and grandfather, who both had their own construction companies. He learned his carpentry skills from them, and just as importantly, they taught him great work ethics and integrity. Jeff continued with the family business until 1971, when he joined the United States Marine Corps. In 1974, he married Barb, his high school sweetheart. Jeff continued working with his father in construction, working on both new construction and remodel projects. With Jeff’s construction knowledge and Barb’s bookkeeping background, in 1984, these two adventuresome spirits decided to step out and start their own General Contracting Company. They love meeting people from so many walks of life and working with them on their projects. Neither Jeff nor Barb can imagine any other career that would be more rewarding. Jesse is married and serving in the Army, currently stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, with his wife and two children. Joe is living in Nevis and works with Heartland Contractors (a forth generation craftsman). Going on vacation “up north” is something they had done for years. The Park Rapids-Itasca Park area had been the location of many memorable vacations enjoying the great outdoors. Jeff enjoys hunting and fishing, In 1997, they purchased a lake lot in the Nevis area with plans to move to the area in about ten years and have a quieter lifestyle. That plan only lasted for 6 months. In May of 1998, they made the big move to Nevis, and cannot imagine ever going back. As far as the quiet lifestyle, they have never been busier in their life…..and loving it! Today, Jeff and Barb are enjoying fruits of years of labor. They have assembled a first class |
